Hajar Boucteb, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner/Founder of Bright Talkers

Hajar has extensive experience working with young children. Before becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, Hajar was an educator at a private Montessori school. There, Hajar followed the Montessori teachings and encouraged young children to explore their independence, freedom within limits, and a sense of order. She believes that guiding children at a young age and letting them explore within their natural environment through play allows them to acquire the developmental skills that are needed for their age. Therefore, after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Hajar continued her education by earning her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and became licensed to practice within the state of South Carolina and North Carolina as well as certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Hajar is currently providing pediatric services to children, from the age of birth to age 18, virtually in South Carolina and North Carolina as well as face-to-face in Greenville, SC. Hajar’s family is from Morocco and, because of her parents, she is fluent in Arabic. She has provided both monolingual and bilingual therapeutic and diagnostic services for children. She has also worked with children from other backgrounds and ethnicities and has a real passion for incorporating her clients’ cultures and values within their therapy. Hajar enjoys working with young children and is excited to begin working with your child!
